Over the years I’ve helped people of all different ages and fitness levels reach their health & fitness goals. It doesn’t matter whether you’re today fit and lean, sick and overweight, or somewhere in between. I can probably help you either way.
Whereas some of the clients I’ve taken on over the years were already in good shape when they approached me and were just looking for that little extra that could help them achieve peak health and performance, others were in very poor health and were desperately looking for someone who could help them out of the dark hole they found themselves in.
Who I want to work with
I’m fairly selective about the clients I take on, for a number of reasons. First of all, I don’t have unlimited time and energy to devote to coaching and nutritional counseling. Second, previous experience has shown me that I don’t enjoy the work as much if I work with a lot of clients at the same time. Coaching really drains my energy if I do too much of it. Third, I want to be sure I’m able to give all of the people I work with my full attention. I don’t want to end up as one of those health professionals who take on a lot of new clients all the time and give them all roughly the same plan to follow. I acknowledge that each person has unique needs, and needs individualized follow-up. Fourth, I only want to work with people who are truly motivated to reaching their goals and are committed to following my instruction. I’d much rather work with 10 clients who are highly motivated than 100 who are not.
What I can offer you
The question you may now be asking yourself is: What can Eirik do for me? The answer is a lot, probably. It obviously depends on what you need help with. If you have trouble with your car, need a new insurance, or are looking for someone to mow your lawn, I’m not your guy. I’m also not the guy for you if you’re a die-hard vegan who’s unwilling to change your ways or a person who is so sick that regular medical assistance is required. However, if you’re looking for help with any of the things listed below, I may very well be what you’re looking for.

I don’t believe in quick fixes (Although there are a select few promising medical treatments out there that are effective in the treatment of many diseases and sometimes bring about rapid health improvements). I’m not going to promise you effortless results over night. I will demand that you work hard and follow my instructions. In return I will give you my full attention and do whatever I can to help you attain your goals.
Online coaching vs. “real-life coaching”
I’ve worked with clients both in real life and over the web. These days, I mostly work over the web.
There are some obvious benefits to “real-life coaching” over online coaching, particularly in the context of physical exercise; however, the opposite is also true. The benefits of doing everything over the web is that communication back and forth can happen via text, which means that both parties don’t necessarily have to be present at the same time; the client and coach have easy access to each other; there are no requirements with regards to the geographical location of the two parties; there are no travel expenses; and you don’t need a place or premise to meet.
If you’re mainly seeking help with nutrition, microbiome restoration, exercise programming, and/or other things that can easily be discussed over the web, online coaching can work very well. Things get a little trickier if your mainly interested in help with corrective exercise and exercise technique; however, we may be able to work something out.
